Dr. Stuart received his undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis. He then attended the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. As a recipient of the Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship, Dr. Stuart then reported aboard at Naval Hospital Jacksonville in Jacksonville, FL where he completed an internship in Family Medicine. From there he reported aboard with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion One in Gulfport, MS where he served as Battalion Medical Officer for two years. He then transitioned to Branch Health Clinic Construction Battalion Center Gulfport where he served as a General Medical Officer for one year. Following that, he attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR where he completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Upon completion of his residency he reported to Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, VA. While there he served as the Division Officer of the Wounded Warrior Division. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His areas of interest are non-operative regenerative medicine, sport medicine, interventional pain management and electrodiagnostics.
